Provides the pupils with physiotherapy based on the medical recommendation.
Complexity of therapy – individual parts are mutually interconnected which contributes to the impact on whole nervous system.
Physiotherapy
Is a part of complex therapy. The therapists work on improvement of pupils´ handling and locomotive abilities.
Basic methods:
- Vojta’s reflexive locomotion
- Bobath concept
Ergo therapy
Part of complex therapy aimed especially at development of fine kinesis and self service etc.
Priority is the practice of self service activities
Dressing, undressing, hygiene, shopping, cooking
Basic methods:
- Afolter method
- Bobath concept
Swimming
- Attended by most of the pupils within P.E. lessons once a week
- It is a part of therapy
- Using the Haliwick method and games in water the pupils gradually progress to learning the swimming itself
