TRANSIT PROGRAMME

Established in 2006 thanks to the support of EU.

The premises where it operates were built from a project realized by the city of Pardubice within the Regional Operational Programme.

Introduction and expansion of Transit Programme was financially supported by the Regional Operational Programme via two separate projects.

Mission:

To prepare clients with mental and combined disabilities for simple work activities by the means of biennial practical training.

Support them in gaining social abilities leading to their independence in everyday life.

Target group:

People with mental and combined disabilities in the age of 16 to 40 years who have not succeeded on the labour market or sheltered workshops or have lost this opportunity form various reasons.
 

Transit Programme is practical training aimed at establishment and improvement of basic working and social abilities in the areas of:

• keeping the greens
• utility cleaning works
• arts and crafts
• utility works in canteens

Each client has his/her own individual plan reflecting his/her personal goals, needs and desires.
